Volunteers - St. Ann's Native American School, Belcourt, ND
St. Ann's Indian Mission in the Turtle Mountains of Belcourt, ND is seeking VOLUNTEERS for its school and parish. Volunteers serve primarily as classroom teachers and teachers’ aides for the Catholic PreK-6th grade school and as youth ministers for the parish. The majority of students attending St. Ann’s Catholic School are tribal members of the Ojibwa (Chippewa) Nation. Qualified volunteers and certified local individuals staff the Fargo Diocese’s tuition-free Catholic school.
Volunteers for the mission live with fellow missionaries onsite, and for their service receive room and board, a small stipend, and various opportunities for spiritual growth. Volunteers gather with local people and members of SOLT (Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity) for weekly community nights and evening meals.
